We follow the Golden Rule
Friendly, honest, high-quality care from the moment you step through the doors, whether you are new or have been coming for years.

Dr. Michael Kirk founded Grand Dental Studio and has spent over 30 years practicing dentistry for all ages. Today he works alongside Dr. Chris Foster, on NW Grand Boulevard.
The age range Grand Dental Studio cares for, from first checkups to implant dentures.

What makes us different
The four things the practice says set it apart, and what each one means when you come in.

Friendly, honest, high-quality care from the moment you step through the doors, whether you are new or have been coming for years.

Appointments start on time and end on time. Nobody is kept waiting past their start time, and you get straight back to your day.

The dentist will always listen. If there is something else that would improve your visit, say so, and it gets done.

Every assistant, hygienist and administrator was handpicked by Dr. Kirk, and their first goal is a well-organized, stress-free appointment.
Dr Kirk and the entire group of dedicated professionals provide an excellent experience at Grand Dental Studio. From the moment of arrival, through the appointment itself, everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Great place!Randi E.Patient review, dentistokc.com
Patient comforts
Anxiety affects nearly one in four people preparing for a dental visit, so the office was designed around comfort. Help yourself to the beverage bar, then order from the spa-like Relaxation Menu.

Tour our office
A warm, modern design with spa-like amenities and some of the newest dental technology available. These are the rooms you will actually sit in.

Meet the dentists
Originally from southeastern Oklahoma and raised in Tulsa. “I considered other medical professions, but I saw a connection between art and science in dentistry that really spoke to me.”
Dr. Kirk and Dr. Foster chose dentistry for the same reason: to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day. Both keep refining their skills through advanced training every year.

Originally from southeastern Oklahoma and raised in Tulsa. A track scholarship took him to Texas State; he graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1993, then earned a Dental Implantology Certificate from the University of Texas and a Fellowship in Dental Implants from the ICOI.
DDS, University of Oklahoma, 1993

Raised in Lawton, the son of the first orthodontist in Southwest Oklahoma. After 16 years in private practice he served for over seven years with Indian Health Services and the Veterans Administration, and now works alongside Dr. Kirk.

Meet the team
Each member of the team was handpicked by Dr. Kirk for their training, experience and friendly personality.

Dental services in Oklahoma City
General, cosmetic, restorative, sedation and implant dentistry for the whole family, with specialized training in implants, orthodontics and cosmetic techniques.
Checkups and cleanings twice a year, fluoride, oral cancer exams and gum disease therapy, for ages 3 to 103. Jaw pain, teeth grinding and bad breath are treated here too.
Veneers and Lumineers, the contact-lens thin veneers that usually need no removal of sensitive tooth structure. Invisalign, Zoom! whitening in the office or custom trays to take home.
Custom all-porcelain crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays, dentures and partials. No silver amalgam (mercury) fillings: the practice chose not to use them.
Placement and restoration completed under one roof, planned on a 3D CBCT scan. From a single tooth to a full arch, and help when an older implant is failing.
Unlike practices that refer the surgery out, Grand Dental Studio completes the whole implant process in-house, so a team you already know takes you from the consultation to the finished tooth.
Four implants support a full denture. Everything happens in a single appointment, including extractions in some cases, and you leave with a new set of teeth in a matter of hours.
Clear aligners worn about 22 hours a day, each set for about two weeks, with a progress check every six to eight weeks. Most cases take about 12 to 18 months.
Oral appliance therapy instead of CPAP: a custom-made appliance worn to bed that shifts the jaw slightly forward to keep the airway open. No mask, no pump.
Digital imaging & laser
Seeing inside a mouth is harder than you might think. The imaging here finds, diagnoses and treats problems faster, and shows you what the dentist sees.

Sedation dentistry
Avoiding treatment because of a bad experience, a strong gag reflex, or trouble getting numb? Three levels of sedation, matched to how you feel.
A few deep breaths through a small mask and you feel warm and relaxed. The effects wear off when the mask comes off, so you can drive yourself home.
A prescribed pill, timed so you are already calm when you sit in the chair. Often recommended for stronger nerves, extractions or root canals.
The deepest level, for persistent dental fear or extensive care such as implant placement. The practice partners with licensed anesthesiologists.
New patients & emergencies
New patients are always welcome. After you book, the team sends a link to the online patient forms, and paper forms are available if you prefer. For an emergency, this is what happens:

Insurance & financing
Insured or not, the team will guide you through your benefits and your financing choices before any treatment begins.
In network with the plans below, and out-of-network plans are accepted too. We will never reject your policy. Claims are filed for you.
Break treatment into manageable monthly payments with CareCredit or Cherry. Applying with Cherry won’t harm your credit: no hidden fees, no deferred interest, no hard credit check, and you may qualify for 0% APR.
Checks and most major credit cards are accepted. The team is happy to set up a payment plan that works for you, so cost does not stand in the way of care.

The anticipation of my procedure was the worst part. Dr. Kirk and his staff completely pampered me through the entire procedure. There is a difference between doing a job and doing a job right. Dr. Kirk and his staff treated me like they would treat a family member. I would recommend any friend of mine to experience what I experienced with Dr. Kirk and his staff.DavidPatient review, dentistokc.com
I was able to place all of my trust in Dr. Kirk when it came to asking him to do veneers on my four front teeth. I was nervous about cosmetic dentistry. However, the procedure wasn’t scary at all. I have so many compliments on my teeth. They look so natural.FrancesPatient review, dentistokc.com
Frequently asked questions
Our practice offers start-to-finish dental implant procedures, so your implants are placed and restored by a team you already know. Dr. Kirk has earned a Fellowship Certificate in Dental Implants from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and treatment is planned on a 3D CBCT scan.
Call the office. When a dental emergency occurs we strive to see patients as soon as possible, and we are often able to treat emergency patients the same day they call. On the phone we will ask what is going on and tell you what to do until you can get here.
We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas and Delta Dental Premier, and we accept out-of-network plans too. We will explain what is and is not covered, help you maximize your benefits, and file your claims on your behalf.
No. With sedation you are in a deeply relaxed state and still responsive, and a team member is always with you while your vital signs are monitored. For oral or IV sedation you need someone to drive you to the office and home again.
It depends on where your teeth start and how they respond, but on average about 12 to 18 months. After your exam and consultation with Dr. Kirk or Dr. Foster they can give you a more precise timeline. A retainer keeps the result.
